The Next Part

When we thought about this ride Devin always wanted to make hiking a part of the trip. Trying to hit our mileage targets cycling precluded that part of the trip but driving to Grand Teton and Yellowstone allowed for it and we have done some spectacular hikes.

First we found an amazing free campsite as we did not have reservations.
Then got a first view of the Tetons
And then a view of the whole range.
You can take a boat across to the base of the mountains
And then hike in
Until you are right there amongst the peaks.
And along the river that divides them.
We had a view of all the beauty of nature. The water and trees and rocky peaks above.
Even the aging fallen trees provided a landscape.
We retuned to our campsite to this amazing crescent moon in a sky of dazzling color.
